Overall we were pleasantly surprised at how much we liked this hotel. The last night we were there was a singer again but she was quite good too. The whole act was pretty funny with parts that had us in stitches. The first night was a below average singer but the second night was a really funny musical comedian called Pablo Bloom. The entertainment (something we did not choose the hotel for and would often not watch) was okay. The bar staff and the restaurant staff have been very attentive and friendly. The wine and the cocktails are not great but myself and my partner were happy with the gin and tonics and beers (this is what we would usually drink anyway). As someone who does not eat animal products I was pleasantly surprised at how much choice I had. The food and drinks are not the best quality but good value for money in our opinion. The receptionist was lovely at check in and we were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and size of our room. For £42 per person per night for all inclusive food and drinks we felt like we definitely got our moneys worth. Went to this hotel in February for 3 nights for a no fuss, relaxing break and that is what we got. The location is OK as long you don't have walking difficulties. The staff were very friendly and helpful, except for resolving the issue with the kitchenette, and the hotel was very clean. I don't know what lunch and dinner was like as I didn't try them. The bacon was, incredibly, cooked to a crisp at one and almost raw at the other. The breakfast was just OK, nothing special, the fried eggs were over cooked although you could stand by the gridle and wait for the chef to cook them fresh and stop him when he had them how you liked them ,the scrambled eggs were also over cooked and quite dry. Anyway as a kind gesture they put a few items of cookware in our room, but they didn't actually switch on the oven, I tried everything but it wouldn't work. Just how many fully inclusive guests would be cooking their own food during the day beats me. They told me they were reserved for fully inclusive customers only and that it would cost me an extra €5.00 per day. We booked bed and breakfast in a junior suite with a kitchenette. But there wasn't a single item of cookware, crockery or cutlery. ![]()
